I've Got You Under My Skin
2007
	Installation 4/9/3 m Solo show in the Brainfactory in Seoul, South Korea. An installation of a small tent made of textile (hanging in the middle of the space) and silhouettes of black dogs hunting a rabbit, on the walls of the gallery space. For some things you cannot hide or walk away. They just are a part of you, like: love, obsession and illness. ‘I've got you under my skin I've got you deep in the heart of me So deep in my heart, that you're really a part of me I've got you under my skin’

	Black Rubber 26/16/18 cm Small model for future projects in public space. Working period at guest studio’s Daglicht and Beeldenstorm in Eindhoven, NL 2006. For two months I played with printing techniques and casting of bronze, rubber and aluminium. With the great help and knowledge of the people from the two studio’s, I managed to experiment and produce like crazy! The result is a variety of works in two and three dimensional media. This is one of the pieces I made there.

	Sculpture of cushions & blankets 3 m/4 m/1.4 m Bikini in winter, a group show with five southeast asian artists about ‘Identity’ in Loop Gallery in Seoul, South Korea. My focus was on the many different voices and characters a person has inside her/himself: the sum of all the things that you feel, think, believe and desire.

Memento Mori
2005
	Marble and plants 1/1,3/0.88 m XVI International sculpture symposium Carrara citta Laboratoria, Carrara, Italy. In 2005 I was invited by Franz Kaiser (Gemeentemuseum Den Haag) to participate in the XVI International sculpture symposium, that takes place every two year in Italy. For one month my working space was a platform between the marble caves in the mountains of Carrara. During that month I had to ‘attack’ a piece of marble of 1/1/1 meter. Together with my assistant, a marble craftsmen from Carrara, I created: Memento Mori. A sculpture that tells about: time, death and downfall of nature.

	Mixed media Since my study at the art academy I have been working with the concept of: Strange Fruits. Hanging objects made of paper maché, rubber and pvc tape, that remind us of plants and trees. Unknown and uncontrollable forms of life that suddenly appear… No matter how hard you work and organise your garden, unexpected or unwanted life will always grow there too.

	Wall painting 30 m/2 m at the Watermill Center from Robert Wilson in Long Island, New York. In 2007 I was invited by Robert Wilson to make a wall painting for the annual benefit held at the grounds of the Watermill Centre, in Long Island, New York.
Ambition: The Playful Path To Wholeness

	Wall painting at Chang Dong Studio Gallery 7 m/3 m. For three months I stayed at the residency of Changdong National Art Studio. A program organised by the Korean government. During this period I started making photos of daily life in Seoul. It seems like people have no time to sleep in this maze city. My wish to make art that is ‘helpful’ for life was born here, during this time. The wall painting I made for the exhibition deals with: ambition. The motor that drives and motivates you, to act, to love, to work, to fight….to live.
